Language Mentoring Online Training

Thank you for volunteering to become a Language Mentor! Hopefully you will have attended the live training session at your company for the Language Mentoring programme.

If you have been unable to attend the live training, in order to participate in the programme it is mandatory that before meeting with your student that you do the online training on this page.

Please follow all of the training sections below, in the order that they appear, in order to get a good understanding of the programme's aims, the role that you will play, logistics, how to build a relationship with the students, as well as typical topics for discussion and resources for your sessions. Please have your Language Mentoring Volunteer Handbook with you throughout the training so that you can pause the training and look at relevant pages as we go along.

Once you have completed the online training please contact Megan Hunter, Project Manager - Mentoring, at [email protected] or on 020 7655 0316 to confirm that you are now trained and to ask any questions which might have arisen from the training.
